Lompoc hosts inaugural Show & Shine Car Show

The Lompoc Theatre Project and Village Inn are hosting the inaugural Lompoc Show & Shine Car Show on Sunday, Sept. 13, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Held at the Village Inn in Lompoc, the free community event will feature classic lowriders and custom builds.

Organizers aim to celebrate lowrider culture as an iconic expression of Hispanic and Chicano history. The event is supported by car club partner Brown Sensations Santa Barbara and will include live entertainment from DJ Robert Gonzales and Garcia Dance Studio, along with various food vendors.

A silent auction for a barbecue grill will be held during the show, with proceeds benefiting Dave Jasloski’s cancer battle. Vehicle registration is available for $35 in advance or $45 on the day of the event.
