The event will focus on the spiritual theme, "Characteristics of a human being according to Islamic teachings," which will be explored through ten specific sub-themes during prayer vigils.
In addition to the spiritual program, the organizing committee has raised concerns regarding local infrastructure. Serigne Cheikh Ahmed Tidiane Kane Al Kabir, spokesperson for the Khalife of the Elhadji Cheikh Abdoul Hamid Kane family, called on local authorities to address the need for road barriers on the national highway to manage increasing pilgrim numbers.
