London and Paris showcase Richard Dadd and Andy Warhol exhibitions

The Royal Academy of Arts in London will host an exhibition of Victorian artist Richard Dadd’s richly detailed fairy paintings until 25 October 2026. Dadd, who spent much of his life in psychiatric institutions after killing his father, created more than 100 works that explore fantastical legends and his own delusions.

In Paris, the Musée du Luxembourg will display approximately 150 of Andy Warhol’s drawings, along with paintings and silkscreen prints, through 10 January 2027. The show highlights Warhol’s foundational use of pencil and paper, offering insight into his artistic development beyond his well‑known pop‑art icons.

A bonus cultural highlight includes the free “War is Hell: Childhood in War” exhibition at London’s Imperial War Museum starting 31 July, while the new Spider‑Man film “Brand New Day” starring Tom Holland opens in cinemas on 29 July.
