London Broncos and Newcastle Thunder advance in Championship play-offs

The second week of the Rugby League Championship play-offs concluded with top seeds securing positions in the semi-finals. The London Broncos advanced following a 42-6 victory over Doncaster, led by a two-try performance from Gairo Voro. Newcastle Thunder also secured a direct path to the semi-finals after defeating Widnes Vikings 34-16.

In the elimination games, Oldham RLFC defeated Midlands Hurricanes 46-16, earning a match against Widnes. Barrow Raiders also won their fixture, beating Sheffield Eagles 26-10, which sets up an away game against Doncaster. While the top seeds have moved closer to the Grand Final, Doncaster remains in the play-offs through the second-chance route.
