Londres launches religious tourism and hospitality training program

The Municipality of Londres, through its Tourism Directorate, has launched a specialized training program titled ‘Londres: Cuna de la Fe y la Hospitalidad’ (Londres: Cradle of Faith and Hospitality). Organized in collaboration with the Our Lady of Belen Parish, the initiative aims to enhance the quality of visitor services and promote the region's historical and religious heritage.

The program begins on October 7, 2026, at the Municipal Hostel. It consists of a six-week course featuring weekly in-person sessions and a final evaluation for certification. The curriculum covers four main areas: professional hospitality techniques, the religious heritage of Londres (including the history of the Curato since 1607), practical liturgy and the care of sacred art, and field activities such as guided tours and role-playing simulations.
