Londrina: Armed robbery attempt ends in arrest and cash seizure

An attempted armed robbery at a residence in the Vila Ricardo neighborhood of Londrina ended with the arrest of a suspect and the seizure of over R$ 4,000. The incident occurred on Monday morning when three men in a Chevrolet Cobalt intercepted a woman and her two children, aged 12 and 14, as they opened their garage gate.

The criminals demanded a gold necklace, but the robbery was aborted after unidentified individuals fired gunshots in the vicinity. The suspects fled the scene in their vehicle without taking any belongings.

Following a tip from a witness, Military Police tracked the group to a mechanical workshop in Jardim Pioneiros, where the suspects were attempting to change the vehicle's license plates. During the police intervention, three men attempted to flee on foot, dropping bundles of cash during the pursuit. Authorities recovered R$ 4,269.00 at the scene.
