Londrina real estate hits record sales value
Londrina has emerged as a significant hub for compact real estate in Paraná, recording a historic Gross Sales Value (VGV) of R$ 3.3 billion in 2024. This represents a R$ 1 billion increase compared to 2023.
The demand for studios and one-bedroom units is driven by the city's status as a university center, its agribusiness sector, and a growing service and technology economy. With approximately 25,000 students across ten institutions and a high influx of professionals in health and technology, the floating population sustains a strong need for rental properties.
Data from Brain and Ademi-PR indicate that Londrina holds the 13th position in the National Real Estate Demand Index for the economic segment. The city's average square meter price saw a 6.86% appreciation over a 12-month period. This growth aligns with a broader national trend where medium-sized cities are attracting significant residential development.
