Londrina to build new 3x3 basketball court in Jardim Bandeirantes

The City of Londrina has announced the construction of a new 3x3 basketball court in the Jardim Bandeirantes neighborhood. Located on Avenida Serra do Flamengo next to the Bandeirantes Gymnasium, the project involves an investment of R$179,997.00 and is expected to be completed by early 2027.

The facility will consist of a half-court with a single basket, supported by infrastructure including spectator seating, paved walkways, and an integrated garden. The project follows guidelines from Paranacidade and is part of the state program 'Meu Campinho', which aims to convert public land into areas for family leisure and community sports.

Local basketball trainers, including Marival Mazzio Jr of APVE Londrina Basketball, noted that the new space will be vital for optimizing training sessions. By providing an external area for warm-ups, teams can maximize their time on the main gymnasium court and better prepare for competitive championships.
