Lonely Planet launches new Po Delta travel guide

Lonely Planet Italia has released a new mini-guide titled ‘Il Mosaico del Delta – Storia, cultura e natura nel Parco del Delta del Po’ to promote the Po Delta region. The guide was presented at the TTG Travel Experience in Rimini.

The publication is part of the ‘Destinazione Delta Po: una sfida al cambiamento climatico’ project, developed by Destinazione Turistica Romagna. The initiative aims to strengthen regional knowledge and create a unified promotion of the area's resources, including its art cities, salt pans, and natural landscapes.

Regional Councilor for Tourism, Sport, and Commerce Roberta Frisoni highlighted the guide as a significant tool for promoting ‘en plein air’ tourism, emphasizing the territory's unique biodiversity and surreal landscapes. The guide is designed to cater to various travelers, offering routes for walking, cycling, and boating through the park's valleys and historical sites.
