Long Chau and HOPE Foundation launch cancer patient support program

The Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination System, the HOPE Foundation, and various pharmaceutical partners officially launched the “Sharing the Burden for Cancer Patients” program on September 16. The initiative aims to connect resources to help alleviate the financial, temporal, and mental pressures faced by cancer patients during treatment.

The program focuses on supporting patients in difficult circumstances by providing partial coverage of treatment costs. During the launch ceremony, representatives from the HOPE Foundation and FPT Retail emphasized the importance of collective action from the medical industry and social funds to support those battling serious illnesses.

Trương Thanh Thanh, Chairwoman of the HOPE Foundation, noted that the foundation has supported over 3,300 pediatric patients over the last five years, including 750 cases since the beginning of this year, many of whom were children with cancer. The new program is intended to provide additional hope and resources for families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.
