Long Chau and Santen partner to expand eye care in Vietnam

Long Chau and Japan-based Santen have entered into a strategic partnership to enhance eye care and ophthalmology solutions in Vietnam. The collaboration aims to combine Santen’s 136 years of ophthalmic expertise with Long Chau’s extensive community pharmacy network to improve public awareness and access to quality eye treatments.

Tomoyuki Yoshida, Santen’s General Manager for Asia, noted that the partnership marks an important milestone in improving eye health in Vietnam, which remains a key market for the company. Nguyen Do Quyen, Deputy General Director of FPT Retail and CEO of Long Chau, emphasized that the pharmacy and vaccination system’s presence across 34 provinces will serve as a vital touchpoint for delivering these healthcare services to the community.
