Long Chau Pharmacy named in Forbes Vietnam Top 50 ESG list

Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination System has been named the sole representative of the pharmaceutical and medical retail industry in the “Top 50 Leading ESG Enterprises in Vietnam 2026” list by Forbes Vietnam.

The ranking evaluates companies based on 66 indicators across four categories: Environment (35%), Social (25%), Governance (25%), and Finance and Compliance (15%). Long Chau’s inclusion highlights its integration of environmental, social, and governance factors into its core operations to drive long-term growth.

Key sustainability initiatives include managing medical waste, optimizing resource use, and accelerating digitalization to reduce emissions. The company has partnered with pharmaceutical providers to collect and recycle over 478,000 used plastic insulin pens and asthma/COPD inhalers. Additionally, Long Chau is promoting green operations, including utilizing electric vehicles for nearly 30% of its transportation needs.
