Long & Foster names Daniel Dennis as president and CEO

Long & Foster Companies has appointed Daniel Dennis as its new president and CEO. Dennis succeeds Patrick Bain, who is stepping down after a 16-year tenure with the company, including the last three and a half years as president and CEO.

Dennis returns to the HomeServices of America network, where he previously led Roberts Brothers in Alabama. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of sales and service at RE/MAX, focusing on recruitment, brokerage support, and national expansion. His background also includes serving as president of Illustrated Properties in South Florida.

As president and CEO, Dennis will oversee the residential real estate brokerage and collaborate with leaders across the company’s affiliated services, including mortgage, title, insurance, inspection, and property management. Dennis and Bain will work together over the coming weeks to facilitate the leadership transition.
