Long Thanh residents complete land handover for expressway expansion

The final 10 households in Long Thanh Ward, Dong Nai province, have agreed to hand over land for the expansion of the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway. This agreement marks the completion of land clearance for this specific section of the project.

Local authorities conducted meetings and mobilization efforts to address resident concerns regarding compensation, support, and resettlement. The project area in Long Thanh Ward involves over 1.7 hectares of land, affecting 138 households and 169 land plots. Prior to the final agreement, approximately 1.68 hectares had already been handed over. The remaining 0.02 hectares were delayed due to resident requests for clarification on resettlement and discrepancies in land use certificates.
