Longvic launches collective energy purchasing initiative
The city of Longvic is organizing a collective purchasing operation for gas and electricity in partnership with ECODIGO. The initiative aims to leverage the collective bargaining power of a large group of consumers to negotiate better conditions with energy suppliers and reduce household expenses.
More than 500 households in Longvic have already expressed interest in the program. A public information meeting is scheduled for August 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Camille-Bombois media library to help residents understand the process. Pre-registration for the program is free, non-binding, and remains open until August 31, 2026.
