Longvie to expand industrial plant in Catamarca
Longvie CEO Eduardo Zimmermann announced a productive reconversion and expansion of the company’s industrial plant in El Pantanillo, Catamarca. The project aims to increase production capacity and strengthen the company’s presence in the region by focusing on the manufacturing of water heaters and injected plastic parts using latest-generation technologies.
The facility currently utilizes processes such as plastic injection, painting, folding, and die-cutting. Its high-tonnage injection machines allow it to manufacture components for both internal use and third parties, including brands such as Puma.
Currently employing over 60 workers, the expansion seeks to consolidate local industrial capacity. The Catamarca provincial government, represented by Governor Raúl Jalil, stated it will support the process through strengthening programs and logistical aid to encourage new investments and sustain industrial employment.
