Longview, Texas, water tower enters National Tank of the Year competition
Longview, Texas, is participating in the National Tank of the Year competition with its newly painted 1-million-gallon water tower. The design celebrates the local arts and culture scene, featuring musical motifs, a guitar, and the slogan ‘Enjoy the View!’
Public voting for the competition is currently open and will continue through October 16. The winner is scheduled to be announced on October 23, 2026. A victory would provide the city with national recognition and a feature in a prominent calendar.
While the Longview tower is competing for the top title, two newly painted towers in Shreveport are eligible for a people’s choice award.
