Longwood University men's soccer defeated Coastal Carolina University 4-2 in their home opener at the Longwood Athletic Complex. The Lancers improved their season record to 2-0 with the victory.

Joshwa Campbell led the offensive effort for Longwood, scoring two goals. Brando Bedolla contributed significantly to the win by recording one goal and three assists. Other scoring contributions came from Mesfin Roda, while Levon Saribekyan provided two assists.

Coastal Carolina, which previously played to a 0-0 draw against NC State, fell to a record of 0-1-1 following the loss.
