Lontué Community Care Center opens in Molina
The Lontué Community Care Center has officially launched in the commune of Molina. The facility is designed to provide support and accompaniment to caregivers who often manage their responsibilities without sufficient time for their own well-being.
The center will offer psychological care, workshops for caregivers, assistance with social benefit applications, and psychoeducational interventions. It also aims to promote self-help groups and recreational activities to strengthen community support networks.
Molina Mayor Felipe Méndez noted that while the infrastructure already existed, the launch marks a new stage by incorporating professional teams to lead activities throughout the year. The initiative also received support from the Pentecostal Church of Chile, with Pastor Mauricio Trincado offering a team of over 30 professionals to assist with community welfare and self-care activities.
