Lonza nominates Pearl Huang to Board of Directors

Lonza has announced the nomination of Pearl Huang as an independent member of its Board of Directors. If elected at the Annual General Meeting in May 2027, Huang will serve on the Strategy and Innovation Committee and the Remuneration Committee.

Huang possesses a background in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors, having held leadership roles at Roche, GSK, and Merck, and serving as a founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Beigene. She currently holds director positions at Waters Corporation and BB Biotech.

As part of the company’s board renewal policy, current members Angelica Kohlmann and Christoph Mäder will not stand for re-election at the 2027 AGM. This transition is part of a broader evolution of the Lonza Board, which has seen eight new members added since 2024 to enhance strategic and international expertise.
