Looe and Liskeard host summer carnival and business events

The Looe Lions Carnival concluded with a parade from Hannafore Point to the beachfront, featuring the St Pinnock Band and creative costumes. The Bond Dance Company and the Looe Sea Swimmers team were named parade winners. Additionally, Sheila's School of Dance performed a series of shows titled ‘Zora Saves the Sun’ at the Duloe Jubilee Centre.

In local business news, nominations for the second Annual Liskeard Business Awards have closed. The Liskeard Traders Association is preparing an online voting system, with voting scheduled to open on August 15 and close on September 28. The awards ceremony is set for October 10 at The Public Hall. Furthermore, the Liskeard Traders Association held its second network meeting on August 8 at Barss Place.
