Loops AI secures $3.5 million to expand AI e-commerce technology

Turkish artificial intelligence startup Loops AI has secured $3.5 million in an international investment round to fuel its global expansion. Founded by Ilker Selim Zorluoglu, Ari Nazir, and Yusuf Bahadir, the company develops technology designed to transform the e-commerce experience by allowing users to search for products using natural language rather than traditional keywords and filters.

The investment round included participation from several prominent international entities, such as Andreessen Horowitz’s early-stage program a16z Speedrun, the Japanese telecommunications group NTT DOCOMO, Connecticut Innovations, Monday Capital, and Alumni Ventures. Additionally, angel investors from major technology firms like Google and Netflix participated in the round.

Loops AI plans to use the new capital to increase product development and engineering capacity, deploy more customer applications, and accelerate international growth. The company has identified Japan as its first target market for global expansion. Having already tested its solutions with major Turkish brands such as Mavi, A101 Ekstra, and Boyner, the startup aims to broaden its applications into sectors like finance and energy.
