Lopesan Hotel Group Opens Three New Resorts in Punta Cana

Lopesan Hotel Group inaugurated three all‑inclusive resorts in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, marking its largest Caribbean expansion. The new complex—Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Lopesan Serenity Bay (adults‑only) and Lopesan Splash Cove (family‑focused)—adds more than 1,000 rooms and represents an investment of over €300 million (about US$350 million).

Facilities include a 127‑metre lagoon pool, ten waterfalls, a wave pool, water‑park amenities, and a new Lopesan Convention Center capable of hosting up to 2,000 attendees. All three properties are linked by The Boulevard, an open‑air promenade with restaurants, bars, shops, a casino and an 820‑seat theatre. The development was designed with sustainability in mind, featuring energy‑efficiency measures and plans for international environmental certifications.

Lopesan expects the opening to generate roughly 700 direct jobs initially, rising to more than 1,100 positions when the resorts operate at full capacity, bolstering local tourism employment.
