Lopik to host information session on floodplain nature plans

Residents in Lopik are invited to an information session on September 24 at De Schouw community center to review final designs for nature and water quality improvement plans in the floodplains between Schoonhoven and Salmsteke. The project focuses on the Willige Langerak, De Bol, and Collegewaard areas.

The meeting, organized by the Province of Utrecht, Rijkswaterstaat, and Staatsbosbeheer, will present the definitive design, which incorporates feedback from previous sessions. Attendees can learn about the implementation schedule, permit procedures, and specific adjustments made to the plans.
