L’ora blu launches seasonal leather goods collection on Makuake

L’ora blu, a leather brand operated by Osaka-based GOODIE Co., Ltd., has launched a pre-sale campaign on the crowdfunding platform Makuake for a new collection of leather goods inspired by the four seasons of Japan.

The collection features wallets and business card holders made from Himeji leather, which has been hand-dyed with gradient colors to represent specific seasonal landscapes: rapeseed fields (spring), summer skies (summer), autumn foliage (autumn), and snowy scenery (winter).

The items are crafted by artisans in Toyooka, Hyogo Prefecture, a city renowned for its bag-making heritage. The product lineup includes long wallets, compact bi-fold wallets, and business card holders, incorporating traditional Japanese techniques such as ‘fukinomachi’ (accordion gussets) and ‘kikuyose’ (chrysanthemum petal finishing).
