Lorca police deploy security operations during local Fair

The Lorca Local Police have implemented a special security operation to ensure public coexistence during the local Fair. The first phase of the operation has proceeded without major incidents, supported by preventive surveillance and rapid responses to specific tensions.

During the nights of Friday and Saturday, authorities expelled 65 individuals from the Carpa Joven del Huerto de la Rueda due to uncivil behavior or intoxication. Police also conducted 70 controls and 60 foot patrols, resulting in five arrests for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Additional enforcement actions included 16 proceedings for public urination and 11 for the illegal possession or consumption of narcotics. Furthermore, 64 files were opened for violations of the Municipal Ordinance for Citizen Coexistence, primarily involving public alcohol consumption and unauthorized street vending.
