Police investigate multiple violent incidents in Spain and El Salvador

Spanish authorities are investigating several violent incidents and fatalities across different regions. In Lorca, Murcia, the National Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a man, estimated to be between 60 and 65 years old, was discovered with a knife embedded in his chest near the La Viña neighborhood. One man has been detained in connection with the case, and investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and analyzing the weapon.

In Catalonia, severe weather and flooding have resulted in at least three deaths. One victim was found inside a vehicle in a flooded underpass in Les Franqueses del Vallès. Authorities have ruled out criminal involvement in this specific death. The storms have also caused significant infrastructure disruption, including tree falls on train lines and power outages.

In El Salvador, police have made multiple arrests related to violent crimes, including the capture of a man for threatening a family with a machete and another individual accused of attacking a driver with a similar weapon. Additionally, a 55-year-old man was detained in San Miguel for the murder of his six-year-old nephew and for setting fire to a residence.
