Lord Paper Band to headline 2026 Kente Wear Festival

The 2026 Kente Wear Festival will feature an expanded program consisting of four shows designed to celebrate Ghana’s textile heritage, fashion, and culture. Organized by Freeway LLC, the annual event aims to promote the iconic Kente fabric and provide a platform for designers, models, and entrepreneurs to showcase Ghanaian creativity to a global audience and the diaspora.

Musician Lord Paper and his band are announced as the headline performers for the festival. The event schedule includes shows on October 24 at Sterling Banquet Hall, October 31 at Ehall South, November 14 at Big Field Pavilion, and November 21 at African Palace.

In addition to fashion runways, the festival will include cultural performances, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Organizers stated the event seeks to preserve traditions and promote ‘Made-in-Ghana’ apparel and locally inspired designs.
