Lordana Zafranović film ‘Djeca Kozare’ to premiere in Belgrade and Banja Luka

Director Lordana Zafranović is set to premiere the film ‘Djeca Kozare’ (Children of Kozara) this October. The premiere is scheduled for October 2 in Belgrade at the Sava Centar, followed by a screening on October 3 at the Borik hall in Banja Luka.

Based on a screenplay by Arsen Diklić, the film addresses the historical suffering of the population of Kozara during World War II. It specifically focuses on the fate of children who were separated from their families and sent to camps within the Jasenovac system and Ravensbrück. The narrative follows three siblings attempting to escape war atrocities in the summer of 1942.

Banja Luka's premiere date was announced by Milorad Dodik following a meeting with Zafranović in Trebinje.
