Lorena Horvat wins gold at European U19 Boxing Championships

At the European U19 Boxing Championships held in Loznica, Croatia's Lorena Horvat secured the gold medal in the under 70 kg category. Horvat won her final match against Turkey's Buse Nur Yazan with a 4-1 decision, avenging a previous loss to the same opponent. Her path to the title included victories over champions from Poland, Sweden, and England.

Agata Štajcer of Croatia earned a silver medal in the under 65 kg category. After dominating matches against opponents from Romania, Ukraine, and Turkey, Štajcer lost in the third round of the final to Russia's Belle Zuev.

The tournament featured 354 boxers from 36 countries competing for 20 titles and 80 medals. The final sessions included high-stakes matches for various weight classes across both men's and women's divisions.
