Lorena Ochoa golf Teeth of the Dog Casa de Campo LPGA

Former world number one and two-time Major winner Lorena Ochoa visited the Teeth of the Dog golf course at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas in La Romana, Dominican Republic, for the first time.

Accompanied by Tourism Minister David Collado, Leo Matos of Central Romana Corporation, and Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg of Casa de Campo, Ochoa participated in a golf clinic for special guests. The event included sessions with children from the Casa de Campo golf academy and youth from the Dominican Golf Federation, where the Mexican golfer shared technical advice and professional experiences.

Ochoa, a World Golf Hall of Fame inductee with 27 LPGA titles, praised the Pete Dye-designed course, specifically noting the oceanfront holes. Minister Collado highlighted Ochoa’s career as a model of discipline and perseverance for the youth.
