Lorena Rae compares Klopp’s team selection to fashion castings

Model Lorena Rae has drawn parallels between the selection process of the German national football team under Jürgen Klopp and the fashion industry's casting procedures. Speaking on the podcast ‘Kerners 11’ with Johannes B. Kerner, Rae noted that the process of evaluating players feels similar to Victoria's Secret castings.

Rae, a long-time football fan and supporter of SV Werder Bremen, commented on the recent performance of the DFB-Elf. Despite a 0-1 loss against Greece, she expressed optimism, stating that Klopp’s euphoria is infectious. She highlighted that in both football and the modeling business, one's physical attributes serve as primary capital, and the opportunity to prove oneself in such high-stakes environments is a rare and significant chance.
