Lorenzo Marini to present wearable art at New York Fashion Week
Italian artist Lorenzo Marini is set to present a unique project at the September 2026 New York Fashion Week. The initiative aims to blur the boundaries between fine art and fashion by transforming 21 of his artworks into wearable silk garments.
Inspired by Marini’s artistic alphabet, these creations are not intended as a commercial fashion collection. Instead, the project treats the runway as an exhibition space, where silk replaces canvas to allow his visual language to interact with human movement and the body.
