Cincinnati Open sees major upsets as Sabalenka and Zverev eliminated

The Cincinnati Open has seen a series of major upsets in the round of 16. In the women's draw, world number one Aryna Sabalenka was defeated by 20-year-old Czech player Sara Bejlek with a score of 7-6(7), 6-4. This loss places Sabalenka's world number one ranking at risk, as Elena Rybakina could claim the top spot if she reaches the final.

In the men's draw, top seed Alexander Zverev was eliminated by American Tommy Paul. After a match interrupted by rain, Paul secured a 4-6, 7-6(6), 6-4 victory, saving a match point in the second-set tiebreak. Other notable results include Arthur Fils defeating Alex de Minaur, and Lorenzo Musetti advancing to the quarter-finals after defeating Jaime Faria.

Argentine player Thiago Agustin Tirante also secured a spot in the quarter-finals by defeating Jakub Mensik. The tournament continues with several high-profile matchups in the quarter-final stage.
