Lorenzo Pani returns to Benetton Rugby

Lorenzo Pani has signed a contract to return to Benetton Rugby, joining the Treviso-based franchise from Zebre Parma. The agreement is set to run from November 1, 2026, until June 30, 2029.

Pani, a 24-year-old fullback/wing with 14 caps for the Italian national team, is noted for his technical skills, speed, and offensive capabilities. He previously debuted with Benetton during the 2021/22 season before moving to Zebre in April 2022, where he made 39 appearances and scored nine tries.

Benetton President and CEO Antonio Pavanello stated that the signing addresses the technical staff's need to expand options in the backline. Pani expressed enthusiasm for the move, stating that wearing the jersey represents an extraordinary opportunity to contribute to the team's objectives.
