Lorestan officials coordinate ‘Jan-fada’ parade for people with disabilities

Officials in Lorestan province have held coordination meetings to organize the inaugural ‘Jan-fada’ parade, dedicated to honoring people with disabilities. The event, themed ‘Flagbearer of Wilayat, Lorestan is Sacrificed for You,’ is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, November 6, at 7:45 AM in front of the Lorestan Welfare Organization on Behesht Street.

During the planning sessions, participants discussed the social, athletic, and international achievements of individuals with disabilities. Preparations include setting up service tents, providing psychological support through deployed specialists, and coordinating emergency and social services to assist attendees.

Cultural and artistic organizations are also mobilizing to support the event. The Lorestan Artists Basij has emphasized the importance of using media and artistic expression to communicate the goals of the parade and ensure effective public engagement and coverage.
