Lorestan officials launch initiative to identify school dropouts

The Lorestan Education and Training Department has initiated a specialized working group to identify students who have dropped out of school or failed to register for the new academic year. Led by Director General Seyyed Issa Sohrabi, the initiative aims to address students who have left education due to economic, family, or social challenges.

Sohrab emphasized that preventing dropouts and ensuring 100% student registration are top priorities. He called for cooperation between various institutions to remove barriers and return deprived children to the classroom. The department also highlighted the need to create more encouraging and joyful school environments to increase student motivation and retention.
