Loreto youth entrepreneurship initiative gains international support

In Loreto, Peru, leaders from the UNAP Business Incubator and the Directorate of Innovation and Technological Transfer met with representatives from Plan International and the Kallpa Association. The meeting aimed to establish a formal agreement to support the ‘Decidiendo Mi Futuro’ (Deciding My Future) project.

This initiative, implemented by Plan International in partnership with CIPCA and Kallpa, is funded by Global Affairs Canada. The collaboration seeks to address structural barriers to economic opportunities for youth in the region, with a particular focus on empowering women. The project will utilize findings from the Economic Youth Ecosystem Diagnosis conducted in San Juan Bautista and Nauta to foster economic autonomy and independence among young people in the Amazon region.
