Lori Loughlin returns for new Garage Sale Mysteries movie

Actress Lori Loughlin is returning to the Hallmark Channel franchise ‘Garage Sale Mysteries’ in the new film ‘Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage’, scheduled to debut on September 19.

Loughlin reprises her role as Jennifer Shannon, an antique store owner who solves local mysteries. In this installment, Shannon investigates the murder of a member of her true-crime book club during a reenactment of the Lizzie Borden case. Loughlin noted that while the characters have transitioned into an ‘empty nester’ phase of life, the core essence of the franchise remains intact.

The return comes seven years after the previous film in the series. Loughlin expressed gratitude for the opportunity to reunite with the original cast and described the experience as ‘the happiest day of my life.’
