Loris Baraldi and Eugenio Boni named governors of Italy’s Lions District 108Tb and Rotary District 2072

Loris Baraldi was appointed governor of the Lions District 108 Tb, which covers Modena, Reggio Emilia, Parma, La Spezia, Rovigo, Bologna and Ferrara. He stepped into the role after the premature death of elected governor Alberto Vistoli and resigned as president of Lions Club Sassuolo, where Luca Ruini was elected his successor.

Eugenio Boni, a long‑time member of Rotary Club Modena, was elected governor of Rotary District 2072 for the 2026‑2027 term. The district spans most of Emilia‑Romagna (excluding Piacenza) and includes San Marino, representing over 3,600 members in 97 clubs. Boni outlined the district’s focus on culture, environment, and literacy projects, and began visiting clubs across the region.

Both appointments signal a new leadership year for two major service‑club networks operating in northern Italy.
