Loris Baz to replace Tarran Mackenzie for MGM Racing at Cremona
Loris Baz will replace Tarran Mackenzie for the upcoming WorldSBK round at the Cremona Circuit, the MGM Racing team has announced. Baz returns to the team riding a Ducati Panigale V4R.
Mackenzie remains sidelined following a severe crash during the second free practice session at Donington Park in July. The accident resulted in multiple fractures, including his collarbone, shoulder blade, and both the tibia and fibula of his left leg, which required surgery. Although Mackenzie attempted to return for the Magny-Cours round in early September, medical examinations declared him unfit to compete. He will not travel to Cremona as he continues his recovery.
