Lorna Shore and Black Pantera release new musical works
The extreme music scene sees significant new releases from Lorna Shore and Black Pantera.
American deathcore quintet Lorna Shore has released “I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me,” a 66-minute album produced by Josh Schroeder at Random Awesome! studio. The work builds on the success of their 2022 album “Pain Remains,” utilizing complex orchestrations and aggressive instrumentation. Vocalist Will Ramos focuses on themes of despair and anguish through tracks such as “Prison of Flesh” and “Oblivion,” while “Glenwood” offers a more melodic contrast to the band's heavy sound.
Brazilian trio Black Pantera has released their fifth studio album, “Continental.” The group, consisting of Charles Gama, Chaene da Gama, and Rodrigo Pancho, continues their fusion of thrash and hardcore music. The album maintains the band's signature anti-racist lyrical themes, often utilizing sarcasm and pop culture references—including anime like “Jujutsu Kaisen”—to convey complex political ideas.
