L’orodicalabria summer school to host young entrepreneurs in Pizzo

The L’orodicalabria association is launching the third edition of its entrepreneurship summer school in Pizzo, Calabria, running from August 27 to August 30. Held under the patronage of the European Commission, the program aims to encourage young people to start businesses or return to the region by providing training aligned with current market needs.

Twenty-four students under the age of 27, selected from 80 applicants, will participate in the program. They will work with professors from the three Calabrian universities and Luiss, alongside managers and marketing experts, to transform entrepreneurial ideas into viable projects for potential investors.

The inaugural evening will feature EU Vice President Raffaele Fitto and the President of the Calabria Region, Roberto Occhiuto. Discussions will focus on the European Commission’s ‘Right to stay’ project, which supports youth in building futures within their home territories.

As part of the incentives, four winners will be eligible for training internships, modeled after previous experiences in Silicon Valley, and the FS Group will award four scholarships for a business public speaking course in English.
