The Los Angeles Angels placed right‑handed reliever Sam Bachman on the 15‑day injured list because of right forearm radial nerve inflammation, with the move made retroactive to Monday.

Bachman had pitched on Sunday, facing two batters in the eighth inning of a 3‑0 home win over the Milwaukee Brewers, recorded one out before exiting with arm fatigue. He is 1‑2 with one save and a 4.14 ERA this season.

To fill the roster spot, the Angels recalled left‑hander Tayler Saucedo from Triple‑A Salt Lake; Saucedo has made six relief appearances this season.
