Los Angeles Chargers face injury crisis and trade rumors

The Los Angeles Chargers are facing a difficult start to the NFL season, holding an 0-5 record. The team is currently managing a significant number of injuries, with 18 players appearing on the injury report prior to their recent loss against the Denver Broncos.

To address roster depth issues caused by these injuries, the Chargers have been conducting workouts with several veteran players, including cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis and wide receiver Ronnie Bell.

Amidst these struggles, trade speculation has emerged regarding veteran edge rusher Khalil Mack. Analysts have suggested a potential trade that would send the 35-year-old Mack to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 2027 fourth-round pick. Such a move would aim to bolster the Bills' pass rush while allowing the Chargers to move on from an aging player on an expiring contract.
