The Los Angeles Chargers are facing significant roster adjustments following injury news regarding their offensive line. Starting center Tyler Biadasz has been placed on season-ending injured reserve after suffering an ACL injury to his left knee during joint practices with the San Francisco 49ers. Biadasz, who signed a three-year, $30 million contract this offseason, will miss the entire 2026 season. Rookie Jake Slaughter is expected to take over the center position.

In a positive development, left tackle Rashawn Slater has returned to practice. Slater had been sidelined since last August due to a torn patellar tendon, which caused him to miss the 2025 season. His return allows 2024 first-round pick Joe Alt to move back to the right tackle slot.
