Los Angeles City Council member rejects proposal for homeless sexual relief clinics
During a Los Angeles City Council meeting, an unidentified public speaker proposed a pilot program to establish free, taxpayer-funded “hygienic sexual relief clinics” for the homeless population. The speaker argued that providing private spaces for sexual relief could help reduce stress and improve the mood of unhoused individuals facing difficult living conditions.
Councilmember Traci Park expressed strong opposition to the suggestion. In a video shared on social media, Park reacted to the proposal with disbelief and clarified that the Los Angeles City Council is not considering the implementation of such facilities.
