Los Angeles County seeks applicants for Civil Grand Jury

The Los Angeles County Superior Court is seeking applicants for its 23-member Civil Grand Jury for the 2027-28 term. The panel is tasked with investigating and reviewing county, city, and joint-powers agencies to provide government oversight.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, at least 18 years old, able to read and speak English, and residents of Los Angeles County for at least one year. Jurors typically commit 30 to 40 hours per week and will receive training before conducting reviews. The one-year term is scheduled to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028. Applications are due by November 1.
