Los Angeles Dodgers Activate Pitcher Edwin Díaz and Utility Player Kiké Hernández After Injuries

The Los Angeles Dodgers activated right‑handed closer Edwin Díaz from the 60‑day injured list for his first appearance since April 19. Díaz entered the game against the Seattle Mariners, recorded the save in a 4‑2 win and threw fastballs touching 99 mph, showing he is back to health after a procedure to remove loose bodies from his elbow.

Utility man Kiké Hernández was also cleared from the 60‑day injured list after a Grade‑3 oblique tear that had him fearing the end of his season. He underwent intensive rehab, including hyper‑baric therapy, and returned without surgery. Hernández is now available to contribute as the Dodgers pursue a postseason run.
