Los Angeles Dodgers defeat Milwaukee Brewers 3-1

The Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 3-1, moving within one game of the National League-leading Brewers. Yoshinobu Yamamoto delivered a strong performance, striking out nine batters over six innings and allowing only one run on four hits.

Offensively, Andy Pages hit his 20th home run of the season to give the Dodgers a 2-1 lead in the fifth inning, followed by a home run from Tommy Edman in the sixth. Mookie Betts also contributed an RBI. In the ninth inning, Edwin Diaz secured his seventh save despite loading the bases via a hit batter and two walks.

Separately, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts provided an update on pitcher Tyler Glasnow. Glasnow, who has been on the injured list since May 8 due to lower back spasms, is scheduled for one more rehab outing of five innings and 75 pitches. The team expects him to return during the Atlanta-Detroit road trip at the end of the month.
